WordPress makes sense if you publish a lot, often. For a showcase site it mostly adds weight, updates to watch and vulnerabilities to patch. I build bespoke: lighter, faster, safer, and nothing to maintain every month.
In most cases, yes. I need PHP hosting with HTTPS, which every serious host provides. If yours is a problem, I tell you before we start.
That is planned for. The structure lets you add a page without touching the rest. Depending on the project you do it yourself from the admin, or I handle it at a fixed price.
